Live Classics took part in Days of
Russian Literature in Paris “RussenKo”,
organized by France-Oural Association.
Russian translation rights to the selection of short stories and the bestseller
“Natural Novel” by Georgi
Gospodinov have been sold to
Publishing Group Attikus. The
book is scheduled for publication in spring 2011. The author is expected to visit Russia, meet readers
and present the book personally.
From October 6—10, The Live Classics Literary Agency will be participating in the 2010 Frankfurt Book Fair (Germany), the world's largest trade fair for books, multimedia, and communications.
Live Classics will offer new titles and authors from Russia, CIS countries and Europe, will meet several publishers in order to present editorial rights and discuss future projects.
Besides the diffusion of rights all over the world, Live Classics will participate in special trainings for publishers and editors from Central and Eastern Europe organized by Mediacampus Frankfurt, Börsenvereins des Deutschen Buchhandels, Frankfurt Book Fair and the Goethe-Institute Moscow.
July, 15 — the Association “Live
classics” signed an agent agreement with
a famous writer and playwright Angel
Wagenstein (born in 1922).
February, 4 — world bestseller “Natural
novel” written by the Bulgarian writer
Georgy Gospodinov is published for the
first time in Russia. “Inostrannaya
literatura” magazine №01 2010 dedicated
to the 55th magazine’s anniversary
published brief version of the novel
together with works of the Nobel prize
laureates, namely, G. Myuller,
V. Shimborskaya, E. Montale. |
