Ildar Abuziarov was born in the city of Gorky (now Nizhny Novgorod). He is the author of more than 20 publications in major literary journals and three books of prose (“HUSH”, “Kurban-Roman” and “The Autumn of Djinns”). His works have been translated into German, Czech, and Swedish. He is a member of the Forum of Young Writers in Lipki and writes for “The Literary Express”. His stories “A Moor” and “The Post” were short-listed for the Yury Kazakov Prize.

	Abuziarov’s prose is like a painting. The idea sets the theme for the picture, then rolls itself up into the secret at the bottom of the text. The emphasis is transformed from the meaning to the implementation. The author thoroughly joins the motifs, keeping an eye out to ensure that there are no visible seams in the ornamentation. He does not allow any fragment to deviate from the given subject.
